Chakra System - Learn the History
The chakra system originated in India more than 4,000 years ago, and the word chakra means "wheel" in ancient Eastern Sanskrit.

Chakras are vortices of energy positioned on different parts of the body.

There are 7 of these wheels stacked in a column of energy that span from the base of your spine to the top of your head.

The figure below gives you a general idea of the location of these energy wheels. The major chakras are positioned next to a hormonal gland and they receive, assimilate, and radiate the life force energy.

They are very sensitive to your thoughts, environment and the state of another individual’s chakras (whether balanced or imbalanced).

Chakras can and do effect your
  • Breathing,
  • Heart rate,
  • Metabolism,
  • Glandular processes,
  • Body shape,
  • Chronic physical ailments,
  • Addictions,
  • Thoughts
  • Behavior.
Likewise, every "issue" that you think about often is associated with a chakra. There is a chakra related to
  • Thoughts about money and career,
  • Relationships,
  • Your future,
  • Lifestyle habits,
  • Goals
  • Aspirations.
If you hold on to negative thoughts, your chakras will become dirty with dense dark energy.

Dirty chakras make you feel sluggish and out of balance.

When your chakras are out of balance they have a detrimental impact on your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

Fortunately we can take positive steps by meditating, using uplifting affirmations and visualizations, yoga, nutrition and exercise to restore balance to our chakras. Influencing our health, lives and spirituality for the better.
